Chicken Thigh Schnitzel

Why go to the pub when you can cook up a classic chicken schnitzel at home? Simply pop this delicious thigh fillet, featuring a natural Ciabatta breadcrumb, straight into the pan or pre-heated oven, and you’ll have a great meal in no time!

Cooking Instructions

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add schnitzel into pan and cook. Cover with lid to prevent drying out.

Turn after approximately 8 minutes.

Cook for a further 8 minutes.

TIP: If using a thermometer, cook to a core temperature of 75°C.

Once cooked, allow to stand for a few minutes before serving.

Pre-heat oven to 180°C (conventional).

Place schnitzel onto grease proof paper on an oven-proof tray. Spray with a small amount of Olive Oil.

Once oven is heated place schnitzel in oven and bake for 20 minutes.

Once cooked, allow to stand for a few minutes before serving.
