November 17th each year is a special day for the Lenard’s system, as it represents the founding of the first "The Poultry Shop" at Sunnybank, Brisbane in 1987.
Over the years Foundation Day has become an integral part of the company's tradition as a day when all levels of National Support Office staff go to work in various Lenard's stores across Australia.
It's a chance for office staff to experience the front line of the business, to develop closer relationships with Franchise Owners, and to gain a better appreciation for day-to-day life in a Lenard's store. It's also a chance for store staff to find out more about what it's like working in Lenard's National Support Office, and for both to share a fun day together.
With almost 190 stores throughout the nation, Foundation Day is a celebration for the system's 2,000 employees. On this Day, Lenard’s employees reflect upon the company's past and look forward to the future with excitement.
Foundation Day offers the opportunity to further develop strong working relationships between Franchise Owners, National Support Office staff and Lenard’s store staff, while providing a memorable shopping experience for Lenard's customers.
