A Lenard’s Franchise is a partnership between the Franchise Owner and Lenard's National Support Office.

Lenard's National Support Office provides Lenard's Franchise Owners with great service; employing professionals in marketing, product development, operations, training, accounting and legal. It is the Vision of Lenard's National Support Office to; "Provide outstanding Franchise Owner support". 

Marketing

  • Winner of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Media Campaign of the Year 2006 sponsored by the National Retailer Association ("We invent. You cook" National television advertisement and associated marketing campaign).
  • Winner of the National Retail Association Best Marketing Initiative 2003, Lenard's marketing team provides high quality national, regional and local area marketing campaigns, supported by a National Sales Pool.
  • Brand strength with National Advertising campaigns to increase awareness and communicate Lenard's key brand values.
  • Every six weeks Lenard's supplies Franchise Owners with the latest point-of-sale material promotion packs. The packs, which include posters, placards and product and window tickets, support seasonal themes, new product introductions and are also used for national 'enter and win' competitions.
  • Franchise Owner of the Year Program, a key element in building relationships with Franchise Owners to positively reinforce the attitudes and behaviours that are necessary for success.
  • Continuously works on maintaining high quality Franchisor/Franchise Owner relationships and reducing barriers of communication through weekly, fortnightly and quarterly newsletters.

Operations

  • Master Franchisees and Franchise Support Consultants provide on-going support and training to Franchise Owners on a daily basis to maximise business profitability.
  • National and Regional Advisory Councils meet regularly providing a forum for Franchise Owners to voice their ideas, suggestions or concerns about the Lenard’s system.
  • Leading the retail fresh food industry, Lenard’s provides the highest quality products and has a national HACCP program.

Training

  • Lenard’s six week intensive Franchise Owner Induction Program equips Franchise Owners with the necessary skills in management, product make-up, operations, marketing, merchandising and staff training.
  • Lenard’s REAL (Retail Excellence at Lenard’s) training initiative has been developed to complement Lenard’s existing training program; offering courses to improve Franchise Owners' business skills and practices, as well as increasing the skills of their staff.
  • Certificates of Competency reinforce Franchise Owners' and their staffs' skills in Boning, Make-up and Service.

Accounting

  • To streamline administration for National Support Office, Franchise Owners and suppliers, Lenard’s Chargeback system centralises the process enabling Lenard’s to negotiate discounts with suppliers in return for providing one point of contact - National Support Office.
  • EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) Management Information System is designed to maximise store efficiencies in production, staffing, sales and forecasting.
